Pumpcat locations – PokeMMO Halloween 2026

During the Halloween event, 30 Pumpcats hide across PokeMMO: 6 in each of the five regions. The quest tracker never tells you the town, only the region and a hint, such as "Salty breeze" or "Clanking of machinery".

Each hint fits several towns. Pick the region and the hint below to see every town it points to, with a screenshot of the exact spot where the cat sits.

How to read the Pumpcat hint

  1. Open the event quest in the tracker on the right of the screen and click its progress bar ("x/30 Pumpcats found").
  2. Click "???": a message gives the cat's region on the first line and the hint on the second.
  3. The region can be another one than yours: travel there first.
  4. Choose that region and that hint in the finder below, then check each town listed until you find the cat.
  5. Talk to the Pumpcat: "Pumpcat delivered a treat!" confirms it, and your counter goes up.

Pumpcat hunt tips
  • A hint is not tied to a single town: the cat is in only one of them at a time, so check them one after another.
  • Towns with a screenshot come first, they are this year's confirmed spots. A town marked "2 spots" can hold the cat in two different places.
  • If the cat seems missing from the last town left, change channel or relog: players report it sometimes stays hidden when it lands twice in a row in the same town.
  • Some spots need Surf (in the water near the docks) or are inside a big city's side streets: zoom on the screenshot to match the buildings.

Pumpcat: frequently asked questions

How many Pumpcats are there in PokeMMO?

30 Pumpcats: 6 in each region (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova). The tracker counts them as "x/30 Pumpcats found".

Where is the Pumpcat?

It changes for every player and every cat. Read the hint in the quest tracker (progress bar, then "???"): it gives the region and a clue. Pick both in the finder on this page to see the towns and the exact spot.

What does the "Salty breeze" hint mean?

The cat is in a seaside town of the region shown: ports, beaches and islands such as Vermilion City, Olivine City, Slateport City, Canalave City or Castelia City.

I checked every town and can't find the Pumpcat, is it bugged?

Usually the town list misses a spot or the cat sits in a corner. Look at the screenshots, try the towns without one, and change channel or relog if the cat appeared twice in a row in the same town.

Is the Pumpcat hunt part of the Halloween raids?

No, it is a separate event quest. The Halloween raids (Darkrai, Pumpking and the others) have their own page with team strategies.
